Walk-In Clinic
Please enter the building at the west entrance, and turn left to access the walk-in clinic.
The walk-in clinic treats minor medical issues. We strive to see patients on a first-come, first-served basis, but ask for your patience as we do prioritize patients with more urgent medical needs.
We also have a walk-in clinic in Salida if our Buena Vista walk-in clinic is full.
Please note: the walk-in clinic is not an urgent care nor an emergency room. Please do not come to the walk-in clinic with medical emergencies or life-threatening conditions, such as symptoms of heart attack or stroke, spinal/head injuries, uncontrollable bleeding, large open wounds or major broken bones. Please go to the nearest Emergency Room.
The walk-in clinic does not provide IV therapy for hydration.
Orthopedics consultations
Along with other specialist services, BVHC offers orthopedics appointments for patients. For any community member who needs to be seen urgently for an orthopedic injury or issue, please visit our walk-in clinic, and our orthopedic surgeons may be available for same-day appointments, or consultations through our main walk-in clinic.
Our medical providers will ensure you receive a full assessment and offer next steps in the process for tending to your needs. The comprehensive team works towards the best outcome for you to return to sport and your regular lifestyle safely and without pain.
Our orthopedics team also sees patients in clinic at BVHC as well as in Salida, and perform surgeries at the main hospital campus in Salida.
