Open to all patients and to the public, the Outpatient Pharmacy has a large inventory of common prescription drugs and over-the-counter items.

Patients must self-screen before entering the pharmacy. Only three (3) people are allowed in the Pharmacy lobby at any given time, and each person entering must be wearing a mask.

COVID-19 anti-viral medicine

The HRRMC Pharmacy has PAXLOVID available to the community. Paxlovid is an outpatient oral treatment used to treat mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in adults and children aged 12 and older.

Paxlovid is ideal for those who have tested positive for COVID-19, and are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization and death.

Paxlovid is available at the HRRMC Pharmacy FREE OF CHARGE. A referral prescription from your provider is REQUIRED via electronic order to the HRRMC Pharmacy.

NOTE: Please do not come into the HRRMC Pharmacy to pick up your Paxlovid prescription if you are COVID-positive. Upon arrival, please stay in your vehicle and call (719) 530-2430. A pharmacy staff member will come out to your vehicle to deliver.

COVID-19 vaccine

COVID-19 Vaccine: The HRRMC Pharmacy is offering COVID-19 first, second and booster shots to our community.

A second COVID-19 booster shot has been approved by the FDA for distribution to:

  • Those 50+ in age; and
  • Those 18+ in age who are immunocompromised.

The Pharmacy has availability for walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as other standard vaccinations during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.).

  • All COVID-19 brand vaccines are available (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson until supply runs out)
  • The new, COVID-19 bivalent boosters from Moderna and Pfizer are available
  • No appointment necessary
  • Any member of the public can walk up and request a vaccination

Upon arrival, you will fill out a short vaccination form. Please allow some time for the pharmacist to prepare your vaccine.

Call ahead if you would like to confirm best time to arrive when the pharmacy is not busy in order to ensure your vaccination goes as quickly as possible.

Pharmacy Outreach Services: We are offering local pharmacy pickup services at the HRRMC Saguache Health Center and HRRMC Custer County Health Center. Prescriptions will be available for patient pickup at each health center on weekdays during each health center's normal business hours. Pick up is free of charge.
