HRRMC has hospital-employed general/trauma surgeons located on the main campus. Our surgeons and extensive surgical teams ensure the patient's safety throughout the surgical process.

Karen Johnson, M.D., Jeremy Hedges, M.D., Stefan S. Iverson, DO, and Zachary Green, M.D. have offices at the hospital's main campus in Salida. They see patients by appointment as well as perform surgical procedures at HRRMC.

Robotic-Assisted Surgery

For certain procedures, HRRMC utilizes robotic-assisted surgery, which combines advanced robotic technology with surgical expertise, offering enhanced precision, flexibility, and control compared to traditional techniques.

The system HRRMC works with is the DaVinci 5 system. This system helps our surgeons perform minimally-invasive surgeries and offer them high-definition 3D vision, magnified views, and robotic/computer assistance with precision and reconstruction deep inside of the body.
