Facility and Clinic Updates
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, HRRMC is working hard to continue essential services while protecting the health and safety of our patients, providers and staff.
Please note the following processes in place for both patients and visitors:
Registration updates
Please use the following options to help accelerate the process of scheduling your next appointment, and read through what to do on the day of your appointment for a smooth and efficient visit.
1. Pre-registering for appointments
Patient Financial Services is highly recommending that patients pre-register for their appointment after being scheduled. This will eliminate the need to stand in line prior to a patient's in-person appointment to fill out any paperwork or authorizations.
Patients can do this in two ways: By calling (719) 530-2360 prior to their in-person appointment, or when the registration team initiates a phone call to pre-register for scheduled services prior to their appointment (for which they will need to answer the phone call to confirm).
Patients can call to pre-register for ANY service.
2. Verbal authorizations
Patient Financial Services will be asking for verbal authorizations as opposed to written authorizations at the time of pre-registration, to reduce wait time in lines and accelerate the registration process.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work to return to normalcy during this unprecedented time.

Other special arrangements:
Family Birthing Center: In order to prevent potential infection and exposure, Family Birthing Center nurses and staff are not treating sick patients, nor any suspected COVID-19 patients at the hospital.
If hospital patient volume drastically increases, the Family Birthing Center has a contingency plan in place for labor and delivery space in the Outpatient Pavilion, so that expectant mothers and healthy families stay separated from the hospital.
Pharmacy: Services for in-store pickup of prescriptions in the Pharmacy lobby are occurring with limited access. Patients must be screened at the Outpatient Pavilion entrance before entering the pharmacy. Only three (3) people are allowed in the Pharmacy lobby at any given time, and each person entering must be wearing a mask.
- Curbside and home delivery services - which are free of charge - are still ongoing. For prescription info, call (719) 530-2430, option 0.

- Rehab and cardiac rehab appointments are continuing in person and via telehealth.
