Registration opens for annual Cancer Walk
SALIDA, Colo.— Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) Foundation is pleased to announce that registration for the 2025 Cancer Walk is open. Learn more and register online at hrrmc.com/cancerwalk. Registration is $35 per person, and free for cancer survivors. All money raised supports local oncology patients.
The Cancer Walk will take place on Saturday, May 3, starting at the main entrance of the hospital. Day-of registration will open at 8 a.m. Speeches from local cancer survivors will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the walk officially starting at 9 a.m. Leashed pets are welcome to join the walk.
There will be coffee and chai supplied by Topo Coffee and breakfast burritos for purchase from Xi Epsilon Delta. An expo featuring health information and products will take place during registration in the HRRMC Healing Garden.
For those who cannot attend event the in-person, or wish to walk independently, they may do so
any time leading up to the community event on May 3rd.
