Salida Hospital District Board of Directors Certified Election Results
SALIDA, Colo.—More than 1,600 votes were cast in the May 6 election for seats on the Salida Hospital District Board of Directors. Results have been certified via the Salida Hospital District Canvass Board, and William Alderton, Dean Edwards and Lydia Segal were re-elected for four-year terms.
Eligible voters in the Salida Hospital District cast their ballots on May 6 from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. at two polling locations in the county, located at the main hospital in Salida and at the Mountain Heights Baptist Church in Buena Vista. Absentee ballots were also counted.
The final number of votes cast for each candidate were: Lydia Segal, 461; Dean Edwards, 307; Bill Alderton, 301; Carol Merovka, 261; Amy Stanley, 196; Annette Madonna, 140.
All three incumbents will remain on the board and start their second terms after being sworn in at the May 27 HRRMC Board of Directors meeting. The Canvass Board’s Certificate of Determination can be found by visiting hrrmc.com and viewing the board of directors election page.
