About Joellen

Joellen earned her undergraduate nursing degree at Clemson University in South Carolina. She started her nursing career at UC Health University of Colorado Hospital in the Cardiothoracic ICU. She also trained and worked as an ECMO Specialist. She completed her master’s degree at the University of Colorado, and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Before starting with HRRMC, she worked at South Denver Cardiology as a cardiology nurse practitioner. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care for her patients.

Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors in Chaffee County.
