HRRMC and Mt. Princeton offer all-inclusive wellness retreat

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is partnering with Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort to offer a three-day, all-inclusive wellness retreat at the Nathrop resort from June 6-8.

It also includes a healthy cooking class, daily meditation, group counseling, tai chi, and hiking. Participants will have access to the pools, spa services, mountain bike rentals, and fitness classes.

“When healthy behaviors are sprinkled into your life as something extra to do, real change is challenging. But when you have an intensive, lifestyle-change experience, research has shown that real change can be made that is long-lasting,” said HRRMC Wellness Manager Jon Fritz. “That is why we are offering this retreat.”

HRRMC instructors include certified exercise physiologist Jon Fritz; registered dietitian nutritionist Devon Moughan-Phillips; integrative-medicine physician and internist William Schroeder, D.O.; and interventional cardiologist James Schmidt, M.D.

For more information about the daily schedule and cost, call (719) 530-2057 or visit www.hrrmc.com and click on the Wellness Retreat button on the home page. Online registration for both the three-day retreat as well as single-day options is now open, and space is limited.
