ICU staff at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center gives a $425 holiday gift to nonprofit Paws For LEOs on Dec. 21. LEO stands for Law Enforcement Officer. Paws For LEOs, based in Buena Vista, trains service dogs for law enforcement officers, emergency service providers, firefighters and first responders who have been physically or mentally injured while on active duty. Hospital administrators joined ICU staff members as they presented the check to Paws For LEOs Founder and CEO Marianne Maes.
