SALIDA, Colo.— Remington Kooper Drake was born at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Family Birthing Center in Salida on January 29, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. He weighed 7 pounds,4 ounces and measured 19 inches long.
Remington has four brothers and two sisters, Bradley, 20, Maximus, 10, Kamden, 6, Ryan, 4, Monica, 18, and Izzabella, 8
Remington’s parents are Justine and Brandon Drake of Salida.
Grandparents are Tad Bailey of Salida, Cindy and John Breckenridge of Grand Junction, and Donald and Kathy Drake of North Carolina.
Great-grandparents are Susan Wall DeLuca of Salida, and Val and Harlen Bailey of Canon City.
