HRRMC Foundation announces 2021 recipient of Dr. William G. Mehos scholarship
SALIDA, Colo.—TheHeart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Foundation proudly announces Sophie Pressly as the 2021 recipient of the Dr. William G. Mehos scholarship. Sophie is a senior at Salida High School and was awarded $1,250.
Prerequisites of the scholarship include declaring a major in a healthcare-related field; attending public school within the Salida Hospital District; a narrative explaining why they would like to receive the award; an outline of extracurricular activities; two letters of recommendation; and a copy of the student’s high school transcript.
The Dr. William G. Mehos Scholarship Program began in 2004. All applications are reviewed by a selection committee, and scored on pre-established criteria.
The HRRMC Foundation provides the hospital with financial support to facilitate innovative programs and provide state-of-the-art healthcare services to the Salida Hospital District.
