About Maritza
Maritza pursued her doctorate degree in occupational therapy with specialized training in upper extremity rehabilitation, where she served in rural areas as well as trauma hospitals in the hand surgery team. Maritza is passionate in assisting those with orthopedic injuries of the hand and upper extremity return to activities that are meaningful to them after injury and/or surgery. In her free time, you can expect to see her volunteering as an EMT, working with local nonprofit elevateHer, climbing with her husband, trail running, fly fishing, mountain biking and skiing.
