HRRMC recognized as Top 100 Critical Access Hospital

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center was named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States in 2018 by iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

HRRMC scored in the top 100 of Critical Access Hospitals on iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX®. The INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive rating of rural providers. It provides the basis for many of rural healthcare’s most prominent awards, advocacy efforts and legislative initiatives.

“I am proud to be part of a hospital that strives to provide the highest level of care and service,” said hospital CEO Bob Morasko. “As HRRMC grows, we continue to focus on offering affordable and accessible health care to our community.”

The hospitals named to the Top 100 list are top performers in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction and operating at a lower cost than their peers. HRRMC was one of only two Critical Access Hospitals in Colorado named to the list.
