Hospital Facilities We are a Critical Access 25-bed hospital. The original Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center was built in 1885 and continues a strong history of service in the Upper Arkansas Valley. Our blood bank is part of the Bonfils Blood System which gives us access to a larger blood supply when needed. Bonfils comes to the area regularly for community blood drives.
