Salida, Colorado-Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center will host its fourth annual Women's Health Day on Saturday, September 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the SteamPlant Event Center, 220 West Sackett Avenue, Salida.
Keynote speaker Kathleen Passanisi explores why "Laughter really is good medicine." A therapeutic humor expert, nationally known speaker, author and healthcare professional, Passanisi helps women learn to use laughter to relieve stress and cope with life's challenges.
Attendees can choose between eight sessions throughout the day. Seminars include "Preventing sports injuries," "Sleep issues surrounding menopause," "Women and thyroid disorders" and "Learn to love your metabolism."
Other topics include "Is your bladder on its own schedule?" and "Tips for healthy, glowing skin."
The day ends with an interactive Pilates session or a healthy-ingredients cooking demonstration.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required by September 24. The $15 cost includes lunch catered by Michelle Gapp.
