Laboratory

Laboratory Services provide outpatient services as well as inclusive laboratory services for HRRMC inpatients. HRRMC's laboratory is accredited with the College of American Pathologists. In-house capabilities include blood tests, body fluid analysis, and microbiology. HRRMC has a blood bank on-site, making blood readily available to patients. HRRMC's lab is part of the Bonfils Blood Bank System, providing access to larger quantities of blood. See the Event Calendar for Community Blood Drive dates.

Laboratory Outpatient Business Hours, except holidays, at the HRRMC main campus in Salida.
Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m
Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday 7:30 a.m. to Noon
Please call for an appointment only if these hours do not meet your needs. The laboratory is staffed 24-hours a day for inpatients and emergencies.

Some laboratory tests require 10-12 hours of fasting. Please ask your doctor or call the laboratory at (719) 530-2260 to find out what preparations you need to make before your test.

Lab Blood Draw Hours at the HRRMC Buena Vista Clinic are from 8:00 - 4:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
