14 8:00 am CPR Certification Location: The Learning Center - 301B Oak Street Description: Open to the public. Each student will need to check out an AHA BLS for Health Care Provider Student Manual from the HRRMC Administrative Offices on the second floor. If you are unsure where to go, let the folks at the main desk of the hospital know that you would like to check out a CPR manual and they will guide you. Review the manual and view the CD that is included to prepare for the class. Bring the manual to class to return. Training takes approximately four hours and certification will be completed that day. Hands on maniken performance is required along with a passing score of 84% on the written exam. BLS Health Care Provider cards will be distributed within one week of the course and are good for two years. Each course is $30.00 cash or check and payment is due day of the course. Recertification takes approximately 2 1/2 hours and is incorporated into the beginning of each course. You must have a current card to recertify. Revisions to the Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Policies recommended by Copic Insurance and Legal Counsel require additional time to review and, therefore, these policies were not presented to the Full Medical Staff at their January meeting as planned. It is the plan, however, to present these for Medical Staff approval in February in some fashion and then to the Board for review and approval at their February meeting VIII.
