HRRMC Oncology Services is hosting a lunch & learn on "Nutrition and Cancer Care” on Thurs., Oct. 5, at noon in the hospital’s second-floor conference rooms, 1000 Rush Dr., Salida.
HRRMC Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Devon Moughan-Phillips will address common issues people encounter while battling cancer such as maintaining a healthy weight. Her talk will also focus on treating your symptoms and touch on general nutrition tips, supplements and antioxidants, recipes and exercise.
The lunch & learn is free and open to everyone affected by cancer. No reservations are required and attendees are welcome to bring their lunch. Beverages will be served.
