What You Can Expect During the Hiring Process:

To be considered for a career at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, fill out our online application.

  1. Once the application is complete you will receive a confirmation email. Human Resources will review your qualifications for the position and send your application to the hiring manager. If we have any questions about your application or qualifications we will contact you.
    1. If the position has been filled you will be notified at the email address you provided on your application.
  2. If you meet the qualifications and job requirements, the hiring manager will reach out to you to discuss your education, background and specifics about the position further.
  3. Survey/Questionnaire: To give us insight into you as an individual and a potential employee, HR will send you a staff assessment survey to complete. This survey will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers and your survey will not be shared with anyone besides those who will be making the hiring decision.
  4. A reference assessment will be sent at the same time as the staff assessment survey. The reference assessment requires you to add three references to be contacted. At least two must respond in order to move on to the next steps. You MUST have email addresses for your references to complete this survey. Please make sure you have accurate information for your references before completing the assessment.
  5. If selected for an interview, the hiring manager will contact you to set up a convenient time.
  6. If selected, an offer will be made and an offer letter will be sent to your email. You will sign electronically to accept the offer.
  7. Once an offer has been accepted, HRRMC will perform a background check, verify your education and licensure, complete a drivers license check if applicable to the position applied for, and have you complete a drug screen at HRRMC.
  8. A physical evaluation will be done to assess coordination, range of motion and lifting. A health evaluation by HRRMC's employee health nurse will be done to evaluate your overall health, immunizations and past health problems.
  9. After your health evaluation, you will meet with HR to complete new hire paperwork and receive your new HRRMC badge. Please make sure to bring two forms of ID which could include a driver’s license, Social Security card, birth certificate, passport, etc.
  10. While completing new hire paperwork with HR, a benefits meeting with the benefits coordinator will be scheduled.
