CEO's Message

A few words from HRRMC's CEO Bob MoraskoCEO BOB MORASKO

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital in central Colorado that is publicly owned and locally managed. Our mission is to enhance the health of our community through the delivery of personalized and exceptional care.

As you explore our website, you will find information about our services and medical providers. You can also access your patient portal, find out about upcoming classes and events, or learn more about volunteer and giving opportunities at our hospital.

We put patients at the center of everything we do by listening to their concerns, understanding their needs, honoring their choices and keeping them informed. We recruit and retain dedicated medical providers and staff who value teamwork, open communication and mutual respect. We focus on accountability, continual improvement, and establishing highly engaged relationships with our patients.

HRRMC is committed to providing safe and high quality healthcare by incorporating patient safety and quality into everything we do. We strive to be the healthcare provider of choice for our region and a world-class rural healthcare organization.

Our hospital offers extensive services that include a family birthing center, oncology and chemotherapy, dialysis, home health, hospice, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and general surgery. Our specialty surgery services include neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, foot and ankle, gastrointestinal endoscopy and vascular surgery.

HRRMC provides advanced technologies—such as 3-D digital mammography and PET/CT scanning—that oftentimes are not found in rural hospitals. We also operate rural health clinics in Buena Vista, Salida, Saguache, Westcliffe and Fairplay that bring primary care, women's health, visiting specialists, and laboratory and medical imaging services to Chaffee, Saguache, Custer and Park counties.

Please take some time to explore potential career opportunities on our website. As one of Chaffee County's largest employers with more than 750 employees, we are an organization that feels strongly about our culture of quality and safety and giving back to the community.

Thank you for entrusting your care to us.

Sincerely,
Bob Morasko, MBA, FACHE
