Art at HRRMC

Art at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center

Promoting a healing environment

Our current art exhibit features Buena Vista photographer Robert Dimmitt.

Mr. Dimmitt's exhibit is running from Jan. 1 - March 31, 2024.

We believe that original art enhances the healing environment of our hospital and clinics and began building a permanent art collection to fill the public spaces of our facilities in 2008. These pieces have been carefully selected to promote a healing environment.

More than 200 paintings, photographs, sculptures, fiber arts and other works by regional artists are displayed throughout the hospital, pavilion and clinics. Our hope is that the art throughout our facilities will provide a source of comfort and inspiration to the people we serve.

Regional artists are encouraged to submit their work

The art collection at HRRMC is constantly growing and evolving. Each quarter, we feature a different rotating artist in the exhibition space across from the hospital's gift shop. We continue to build the collection by purchasing works from our rotating artists.

If you are interested in having your work displayed at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, you can download an application. To learn more about our art program, call (719) 530-2217.
